Haf. Emor (Ezekiel 44:15-31)

Join Beth Tikkun as we continue our study of the Haftarah portions for the 2013-14 Torah cycle. In this study we learn why the book of Ezekiel almost did not make it into the canon of Scripture. We also consider the elevated level of holiness of the Levitical priests and the common people in the coming Kingdom. We also learn how holiness depends solely upon God’s Word and upon not man’s ideas. In the last half of the teaching we discuss the subject of the sociopath as the “wolf in sheep’s clothing”.

Maybe the morning blessing, “…who has not made me a heathen” can be understood as “…who has not made me a sociopath”

When you talked about the priesthood being elevated i thought of the passage in I Peter 2:4ff and wondered how it might relate.
