Genesis 4b-5

Join Beth Tikkun as we continue our  Torah Project series. In this lesson, we analyze the seven generations of Cain, and compare them to the ten generations from Adam to Noah and make some fascinating discoveries. We also discover some disturbing insights in the Bible’s first poem, the Song of Lamech, and see how it was a precursor for today’s art and literature. Additionally, we will see the essence of the Gospel outlined in chapter 5.

    Shalom Grant,
In this study, you said that Gen. 4.23-24 is considered the first poetic style in the Scriptures. I thought that Genesis 1.2-2.3 were the first poetic style verses. Can you explain, please? Though I could not find my evident, I would like to read your opinion.
As always, thank you and Shalom,
    Roberto
