Genesis 42

Join us for another Torah Project teaching, this time centered on food. This first look at Genesis 42 begins with a connection to the Apostolic Scriptures that deepens our understanding of true “food,” spiritual food, with a further insight into the true famine of our times. We then look at the wonderful Hebrew word for “grain,” “shever.” In the second half of the teaching, we pause to consider how Gentile believers should look at the varied fruits of Orthodox Judaism. Finally, we begin looking at how Joseph inflicts 3 kinds of pain upon his family to encourage spiritual development.
