Ha’azinu 2021

This week’s teaching is all about the music – 3 songs in particular. We begin with a comparison of The Song of the Sea to The Song of Moses. Next we examine some curiosities from the Hebrew text of The Song of Moses. Moving on, we draw out four questions from the curious fact that the Torah does not actually mention that The Song of Moses is sung. Answering these four questions brings us to The Song of the Lamb in the book of Revelation. As we compare The Song of the Lamb to The Song of Moses, we employ an example from Mozart for a deeper understanding.

Dear Charlotte, I would love to BE ABLE to teach Revelation, but there is so much of it that is beyond understanding, at least by this teacher. With that said, I will continue to dip into it during other teachings as befits. Thank you for your comment, sister!
