Haf. Masei (Jeremiah 2:4-28)
Join Beth Tikkun as we continue our study of the Haftarah portions for the 2013-14 Torah cycle. In this study we continue with a deeper look into Jeremiah’s vision of the almond staff and the boiling pot and discover applications for our own lives. We spend the rest of the study looking at the most common sin that we commit, and that is that we forget God. We finish by viewing a short video by R’ David Aaron as we discover the solution to this severe problem.

Rav Grant,
In regard to the Minorah, the word for almond blossom sounds like Tree of Life so I heard which is why we eat almonds on the First Fruit of Trees.
