re: transfer of priesthood from firstborn to tribe of Levi–chosen because they did not participate in the worship of the golden calf; and yet Aaron who made the calf was of Levi! pondering this; somehow it is like the LORD in that he tests us and we bear the results of either succumbing or resisting.
