This is so amazing to me. Someone quoted someone else yesterday saying that it takes so much more energy to forgive than it takes to seek or take revenge. And this stuck to me the entire day and this morning I wanted to listen to Matthew again beginning from chapter 1. But could not get it to open so I clicked on matt 6b. And Jim talks about avodah which is also such a beautiful word to hear and then he ends up with forgiveness and with the above statement about the cost of forgiveness I’m just so touched by our Creator’s hugeness. It touches me so deeply. How great is our God!
