We explore two main ideas this year in parsha Noach: the wonderfully interconnected web of the Torah and the concept of grace. Via our first topic, we briefly compare such topics as the Ark and the Tower, Nimrod and the Antichrist, and the 70 nations and the 70 “apostles” mentioned in Luke. In addressing the topic of grace, we rethink the standard definition of “unmerited favor.”
