Proverbs Part 4

In this final overview teaching of Proverbs, we first identify and analyze the 3 “leading ladies” in the book, The Woman of Folly, Lady Wisdom, and The Woman of Valor. While the book has much to teach about each of these women individually, studying them together reveals deeper levels of understanding. In the second half of the teaching, we look at the hebraic concept of “mussar,” often translated as “discipline.” An important theme in Proverbs, mussar is a critical underpinning concept in Jewish life, but it is little understood in the Redeemed Community.
