Shemot 2018-19

After a brief introduction to the Torah portion, we pause to compare Abraham to Jacob, finding lessons for how God works in our lives according to how He worked in the lives of these patriarchs. We go on to look at the important Hebrew word “Horeb,” the name of the mountain context for God’s revelation of His Word to Israel. In the second half of the teaching, we look at Moses’ four questions for God and the 3 signs given to him when he is charged with being God’s instrument of deliverance.
