The main topic in this year’s Bamidbar teaching concerns the ranking of tribes apparent in the organization of the wilderness camp – some tribes given higher places than others. What are the criteria for ordering them, and what lessons can we draw from the fact that God does this ranking? Other topics include how we respond outwardly to the call to holiness, a deep link between Numbers and Deuteronomy, and the connection between the wilderness and death.
