In the Naso teaching, David first places the portion in the flow of the calendar, finding lessons particularly for the adolescent or anyone stepping up to a higher level of authority and responsibility. Later topics include why one might take a Nazirite vow and three progressions in the portion that help us to see how God thinks and how He structures the Word and the world.
