Trinidad Receives a Torah Scroll
Over the weekend of December 21, 2013, Beth Tikkun Messianic Fellowship hosted a visit from four representatives of Sh’khinah ResTorahtion Messianic Fellowship which is located in Trinidad, West Indies. Moreh (“Teacher”) Angus Marryshow and his wife Dawn visited us along with Henry and Sharon Vatcher. We enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship as we finally got to meet these dear brothers and sisters face to face for the first time. Beth Tikkun has been blessed with two kosher Torah scrolls and God put it upon the hearts of the elders to gift one of these to the congregation in Trinidad. During the morning Sabbath service we surprised our four friends with this gift and it was certainly a moment never to be forgotten by all those who were there.
Since the Torah scroll was much too large for them to carry back on the plane, we had it carefully crated and shipped to Trinidad.
