Join Beth Tikkun as we continue our study of the Haftarah portions for the 2013-14 Torah cycle. In this teaching we analyze the rise and fall of Jeroboam and how his life contrasts with Jacob’s. We also examine how a false religion, sect, or often a denomination comes into being. We learn that our idea of God is often a reflection of our own personality and biases rather than a reflection of God’s revelation of Himself through the Scriptures.
