Song of Songs – Part 1
Join us as we dive into the “most spiritual” of King Solomon’s 3 books, the Song of Songs. We begin by acknowledging the intimate subject of the book; this rather plain-spoken introduction is followed by a lesson on interpreting allegory with the help of the Hebrew word “ani” which means “I” or “boat.” We then begin the text itself by interpreting the rich allegorical language of chapter 4 before returning to the beginning of the book, where we discover more about the true identities of the Bridegroom and His bride and their extravagantly intimate relationship.

This Song stirs up many achy-breaky feelings and perplexities. Not like the country songs of achy-breaky hearts that you can leave as soon as they end. Does it even address the pain of lost love?
I noticed the Sheehan is not mentioned in the book. Are the daughters of soon supposed to fill that role?
