Beshalach-Yitro 2018-19

These two Torah portions witness several of the most monumental events in Scripture, including the crossing of the Red Sea, Israel’s battle with Amalek, and the giving of the Ten Words at Mt. Sinai. Our focus for this year is a comparison of the two battles that bookend parshah Beshalach, the clashes with Egypt and Amalek; we find in these a blueprint for all spiritual warfare. Near the end of the teaching, we discover in the miracle of the manna “raining down” an application to how we see the Word.

Hi Grant, I loved the teaching. I just wondered while I was listening. If the enemy cannot touch us, why do believers get sick. Is it because of the flesh?
