Genesis 33b-34
We further our Torah Project series with the fascinating continuation of Jacob’s story, drawing lessons from Jacob’s heartbreaking fall after what is probably the greatest spiritual high of his life. The rapid descent begins with yet another lie to his brother Esau and leads to one of the darkest chapters in the Torah, Genesis 34. The story of the rape of Dinah brings us to a lively back-and-forth discussion centered on male and female. We conclude with a great encouragement drawn from this bleak chapter.
