Haf. Bamidbar (Hosea 2:1-22)
Join Beth Tikkun as we continue our study of the Haftarah portions for the 2013-14 Torah cycle. In this study we look at some fascinating numerical values generated by comparing the census at the beginning of Numbers with the census near the end of the book. In Hosea we see how the two most intimate relationships in a person’s life is the relationship with God and the relationship with one’s spouse. We then learn how God’s path for us almost always includes a detour just as it did for Israel.

Hi Pastor Grant!!
I listen to your Haf Torah teachings each week and play the weekly study repeatedly during the week and am sharing the teachings with others too. :))
You mentioned in the recent Haf Bamidar that you would make available a study resource on the website–alas, I don’t see it. :((
Thank you for making your teachings available on the web–I live in Scottsdale AZ–and found you by God’s loving providence!!
Keep sharing the Torah Treasures!!
Open ears, open heart, open mind to The Living Word,
Fondly,
Maureen Wilcox

Dear Maureen, Thank you for your email and for your gracious remarks. They are such an encouragement and blessing! I apologize that the visual supplements tend to hide themselves, but they are actually there. This is what you must do. When you see a new teaching on the home page, you are only seeing an abbreviated version of the post. So click on the title of the teaching (in this case, “Haf. Bamidbar”) and you will see the full post. Look right above the audio play button and you will see “Visuals: Haf. Bamidbar”. Click there and the slides I use during the teaching will pop op in PDF format. I hope this resolves the issue, but please let me know if it doesn’t. And thank you so much for listening. Shalom & Blessings, Grant Luton
