Ki Tisa 2018-19

Torah portion Ki Tisa contains what are perhaps both the lowest point in Israel’s history in the Torah (the golden calf) and the loftiest vision of God in the Torah (God’s revelation of His goodness to Moses). It is not an accident that both this nadir and apex occur together within the same story. Topics growing out of these events include our own susceptibility to creating golden calves, anger, intercession, Yeshua as the embodiment of the Torah, abuse of the holy, the oneness that comes from love, and the essence of God’s character.
