Liturgy Part 2
Join Beth Tikkun for a special second teaching from cantor Tim Pell focused on liturgy. Tim first brings two important lenses for viewing liturgical prayer. He then addresses the Shabbat prayers one by one, providing an overview of the special function of each.

Tim,
Once again, I wish to thank you for your teaching on the Liturgy. It is such a blessing. One thing or item that I see happening is I notice the spirit within you glowing through, and I appreciate that. It is His doing. Thank you.
An interesting thing that occurred a moment ago was that I wished to check on, was that I wanted very much to listen to your previous teaching on the liturgy I was shocked to see that I also did make a short comment back then too. Wow, I guess the way I sensed it then is that I see how much it means to me as to how I shared the liturgy with a congregation.
One other small thing that I wish to share is that that gentleman who responded was at point with the emotions that I received by the Ruach. Grant, you have a very solid, spirit-filled assembly. Bless the L-rd our G-d…
Shalom to you and the congregation,
Roberto
P.s. Please forgive me, if I sounded so foolish. I felt very much blessed for hearing This teaching.

What a wonderful teaching. I love the liturgy. What siddur do you use?

Thank you, Janet, for your compliment on Tim’s teaching. (I have passed it on to him.) The siddur we use is published by Torah Resource. One of the things we like most about it is that it includes the Hebrew, transliteration, and English translation for each line. Very user friendly!
